Rick Meier practices in Emporia, Kansas and focuses exclusively on criminal defense. Since 2002, he has tried nearly 200 felony jury trials, as well as countless preliminary hearings, bench trials and other hearings. He is a 1984 graduate of Fort Hays State University and graduated from Washburn Law School in 1987. Prior to his defense practice, Rick was a prosecutor in Miami and Franklin Counties for 11 years and began his career in a civil practice in Olathe.
